Oooh! Just a quick quick post here. I just got a phone call from my awesome friend Daniel who works as a 3D artist at Storyline Studios that they had posted a teaser for a project they’re working on now.

I did the concept art for this robot dude! I can’t show the concept art just yet, but when I saw this I got stoked and wanted to share:

Actually I wasn’t aware that they were going to do this in stereoscopic 3D, but that only made it more awesome!

Just a speedy from tonight. Saira and I were sitting in front of the tube and I just splattered some color around and saw what came of it. Been a while since I’ve done that, and it was really fun to just eff’ around a little! I should do it more often.. haha

Quick warmup

Did a quick warmup today.. would’ve liked to spend more time on it, but I gotta get going with the rest of the stuff I gotta do :) Gonna do some character design work today, and hopefully get some more work in on a personal illustration. If I get that far, I’ll post later today as well :)

Sword concepts

Hi, guys! Had a little breather while waiting for a new contract, so I did these sword concepts. I needed a little more weapon concept art for the ol’ portfolio, and I haven’t done much of swords before. My girlfriend bought this awesome book for me with weapons, both blades and guns and everything in between, so I got super inspired, and this is what came out of it :)

Just wanted to drop in.. I’m aware that I’m not updating a whole lot since January, and I just wanted you all to know that I’m still here :D I’m done with a couple of contracts in a few days, and when I have a breather, I’m gonna work on a personal project.. well.. that is, I’ve picked up a personal project I was into a while ago; the steampunk western world.. The plan is some more character concepts and some environment concept art for that world when I get the time. Also I have to do something about the site.. it’s a little too…white at the moment.. I switched from the black one, hoping this would be easier on the eye, and I think it is, but I want a little sumtin’ sumtin’ to break up the big areas of white on the main page.. Fredrik at Overvåkningsbutikken helped me out with a new theme for wordpress, so I’ll probably go to him when I get that far.

I’m doing my daily studies of course, and I’ve started a new master study after the Rockwell I finished up a couple of posts back.. this time, in a moment of insanity, I started doing a master study of Jean-Leon Gérôme’s “Police Verso”.. it’s kicking my ass! But I’ll keep fighting until I kick ITS ass!

Late night fun

Hey people! Just wanted to paint something quick before bed..
Been working a couple of really long days now, so I needed to just have some fun slopping paint around :D Guess listening to Immortal Technique and Delinquent Habits while painting returns results like this :P

I’m working on a bunch of illustrations for a tabletop rpg and some creature designs for a feature length film these days! As soon as NDA’s lift, I’ll bring some stuff to show and tell! Not sure when that will be though, but I’ll be doing some personal fun stuff in between work as well and update on here!

Did this one for the conceptart.org newborn competition a while back. Had a look at it now, and I still kinda like the idea, but I believe I’ll work over this one again to bring it up to par.. I’ll be sure to let you know when I get that far.
