Trip to the states was awesome! Picked up a couple of things at the conference, and it was soopah cool to meet some new artists, although I couldn’t stay as long as I’d liked…

‘sup ya’ll! Going to the US of A on monday.. Photoshop World conference in Orlando. I’m gonna head up to ATL and hook up with a sketchgroup from conceptart.org as well.. I’m hella stoked on it! I never been to the states, so it’s gonna be awesome to see a new country as well as gettin’ some new tech-input on photoshop and hangin’ out and sketching… gettin’ our mad nerd on! Hehe..
Anyway did a quick anatomy/value study tonight… Just to get some practice done.. I do these things regularily, and I don’t always post shit like this, but hey… I study as well… hehe… I’ll be posting something with boobies next time, I promise… hehe… so stay tuned! Oh… and by the way.. I did this on my laptop, and I’m not too sure about the valuerange, seeing as how the screen seems a little light now, so it might read a bit dark… I’ll update the image if I see it’s way off on my work screen.

Yo! I’m heading for Iceland tomorrow for a photoshoot with added painty bits for an advertising campaign. Gonna be staying there for a week, but I’lll update after I get home again! So check in every now and then… I’ll post some pictures when they clear NDA :)
Can’t update without a picture… this is a WIP though… I know it’s too dark ATM, but stick with me… I’ll upload the finished thing when I get it done!

Just a little art again after the last posts lengthy writing-part :P Lookin’ at it, I’ve had to bore your asses off with all that text!
Scanned a small shitload of sketches today, and I figured I could post at least a couple here to keep this thing rollin’ as well. Inks again… hehe… Samurais are cool!
And a pencil study of a skull… pretty cool skull… it’s a cast of a dude that died in Norway during the black plague in like 1350… which makes it kinda creepy and hella cool at the same time…

‘Sup ya’ll! Long time no blog or sumthin’ to that effect. Been keepin’ busy, though so I haven’t just been chillin’ out and slackin’!
Just figured I’d drop a couple of new by here. Mirror Pictures and Desimal, both companies I work with, are putting together a thing we call “Creative 2008“.. SHAMELESS PLUG FOLLOWS!
Lemme tell ya a bit about it; we’re gonna do some demos on digital painting, photomanipulation, digital developing, sfx makeup, and lots more fun stuff! I’ll be back with more details on the demo-side of things later on. Thing about this in addition to demos and shit is the network opportunities there as well. We’ll have people from lotsa different sides of the creative industries; gaming, advertising, film, hairdesign, special effects makeup, photography and so on.
We’re aiming on you guys having a hella good time with a couple of beers (or the beverage of your choice), good food, cool demos so you might pick up a few things, old friends and new ones, and to top it off we’re gonna sprinkle it with some stuff just for visual and audio enjoyment. Anyway… the website for Creative is up, so you might wanna check it out over at www.creativenorway.com! More info on there as well as a way to contact us and check out some of the stuff that happened last year (yes there are pictures! ;) )
That ain’t all… damn I’m writing a lot now… heh… Stian Johansen, Sindre Lundvold and I (we make up like 3/4 of the creative group at Desimal) did a series of pictures for a client that turned out pretty cool, so we submitted one of them to the Photoshop User Awards hosted by Photoshop User Magazine, National Association for Photoshop Professionals and Layers Magazine amongst others.
What came outta that was that we won the Artistic category! We’re all hella stoked on that!
The image was made with a mix of techniques, both illustration and photo mixed up into the finished piece. If you wanna learn a bit about how we do our thing over here, it would be awesome to see you at Creative 2008, and you can ask us in person!

Happy New Year everyone! Finished this one up a little while back… suspended sci-fi-hacker kinda thing… Kinda liked how it turned out :) I did an orthographic sheet for her as well, so this time it’s two pics to the post (not trying to raise the bar for posting, though… hahaha… :P)
