Friday, May 20th, 2011Hey guys! I posted this over at the company blog as well, but I wanted it up here as well. It’s a concept art piece I just finished for Hogworld. I had a ton of fun doing this one!
Hope you dig, and thanks for checking in!

Sunday, April 17th, 2011Hey guys!
Had some spare time to just paint today. This is what came out of it. I want to get better at environments, so I just started slopping color and shapes around, and then I saw this valley with floating mountains, and you gotta love floating mountains, right? Anyway.. trying to do some concept art that is outside of my comfort zone, which is mainly characters and such. Hope I managed to convey some sense of scale with this as well!
Click it for a larger view, so you can see how sloppy my brushwork is.. haha!

Tuesday, February 22nd, 2011Character sketch
Friday, January 7th, 2011Hey guys! figured it was a while since I’d posted last and I wanted to show some sign of life :)
Been busy as usual with two productions at Snow Castle, while I’m hired out on sort of a consulting/AD-ish role to another company.
I’ve started on another gig for 0One games too which is a lot of fun! I’ll show you guys some art when I can!
Bought a new sketchbook at the local comic store actually, not my usual one but it looked really nice :) It’s a Cachet by Daler Rowney, bound back, hard cover and a cool faux leather finish to it :) I’m a huge sketchbook nerd.. haha.. I should really (I seem to say this a lot) scan my backlog of sketches, but I have to fine the will and time for that.. but I did scan the first page I did in the Cachet, though, so there would be some art in this update as well!
Thanks for stopping by, guys!
Venture: table top game art and what I’ve been up to lately
Sunday, July 4th, 2010Hey guys!!
It seems like forever since I made a blog post… sorry about that (and to you guys that have been naggin’ me about posting new stuff; thank you! It helps me keep up! )
I did art on a table top game called “Venture” from Øone Games a few months back, and now it’s out!! It is always awesome to see the product with the art implemented! This is the first time I’ve worked on a table top, so I was pretty stoked to see the images of the finished thing!
I did characters, item cards, a screen for the game master and the box cover!
Here is the box cover:

And some of the characters:
All of the above images are © Øone Games
I had a great time working with Øone Games! Doing fantasy art like this is always fun, and one of the reasons I got into the business!
I’ll be back with more art from Venture later on!
Hope you guys like!
I haven’t blogged since April about what I’ve been up to lately..Jeez..
In May I started working at a game developer called Snowcastle in Oslo. I was hired on to do concept art on their first full length game and I’m having a blast these days! I’ve only been with them a couple of months, but it’s a great studio to work at! Lots of laughs and I’m learning new ways to work (I’ll show you guys results when I can! Promise! ;) ) and the guys I work with are great!
So I’m working full time for them, while doing freelance art like I posted now, collectible card games, and all kinds of cool stuff. Kinda eats into the time I have for blogging, but I’ll try to be good and post more!
I’m also on twitter, if you want more inane day to day stuff.. ;)
Thanks for stopping by people!
Nightmare concept #3
Friday, September 4th, 2009If this was for a game, the first two nightmare creatures would be “low level” enemies.. they’re pretty much basic and fleshy. That being said; I have no doubt that they’d be dangerous.
This next guy is a level up with a bony armour plate on his shoulder and upper part of his chest. Maybe I should think of some protagonists as well if this turns into a concept art for games fun side project.. we’ll see.. I’ll keep it fun though.
As always; click it for larger version :)
